    People seem to understand nonverbal communication is, indeed communication!

    One user pointing out “the vast majority have the knowledge and ability to bend over and slap their ass,” true facts. Animals don’t really hide it when they’re horny.

    One user thinks it’s weird to want to fuck animals, just on principle. Two separate replies, the top with 10x the upvotes: Consent is what matters, not whether or not finding animals attractive is weird.

    And finally, of course, the anti-zoo getting buried.Ya love to see it.

  • Some people are the worst

    There’s an argument in favor of legalizing bestiality that goes “hey, nothing here is worse than agricultural farming. Either end the practice, or let us do our thing.”

    Holy shit, this argument is disgusting. Fundamentally, this is a demand to rape an animal. You have to be a really fucked up person to make it. Willingness to make it should probably put you on some kind of watchlist.

    I bring it up because a few months ago, I saw another zoo flame out on Tumblr making, really wholeheartedly putting everything they had into it, and it was fucking was horrifying.

    You asked to rape an animal. That is why it is wrong. Do you need it clearly explained to you? 

    This is not an argument that is sane, much less pro-zoophile. It makes us look like monsters who don’t care in the slightest about the well being of our animals. Some people just have fucked up souls.

    It’s not an argument about allowing us to be together with our animals. It is, at best, an argument for abolishing animal farming. This is a fantastic goal, and I am 100% behind that, but you are making an argument that sacrifices the little respect we have as zoos to make a selfish, fucked up point!

    Fuck you. Fuck you, so much.

    You are not helping anyone!!! We do not want people like you in our community, fuck off!

  • Speaking of Epstein…

    Good god I am not looking forward to the paraphile backlash off of this one. The internet is Big Mad at the Billionaire Pedophile Cabal, and once again pedophile is being used as a synonym for abuser. The crowd seems like they’re growing more radicalized, hopefully we don’t wind up in a situation where we’re openly being hounded out. All because of a tangental association with billionaires!

    This time, however, seems reasonably contained towards zoos so far. I’ve not seen almost anyone calling out paraphiles as a class, and only one person explicitly mentioning zoophiles. They had someone in the comments defending us, too! Not by defending animals, unfortunately, using the vegetarianism argument and saying we’re just as bad as factory meat, which is not a good look for us. Are we not past this?

    Hopefully zooey seeds are growing anyway. It’s reassuring to see that there are people out there who will defend us, even if they kind of suck at it, and I can’t complain about having allies.

    I just wish they didn’t suck at it.
